Key Responsibilities

• Design and lead a variety of guest activities, including guided tours, outdoor adventures, and cultural experiences
• Provide in-depth knowledge of the local area, including history, wildlife, and cultural points of interest
• Create personalized itineraries for guests, ensuring a memorable and enriching experience
• Manage and coordinate all on-site activities, working closely with other departments to ensure seamless execution
• Develop new and innovative activities to enhance the guest experience
• Ensure all activities comply with safety standards and regulations

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a guide or in a similar role within a luxury hospitality or tourism environment
• Strong knowledge of Franschhoek, the Western Cape, and surrounding areas
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for outdoor activities, local culture, and guest engagement
• Ability to lead and inspire a team, with strong organizational skills
• Relevant certifications in guiding or outdoor activities are a plus
